hello,
I have a question about my vedic birth chart. if I am a cancer rising with leo sun & gemini moon in western astrology, how does my gemini rising & taurus moon & cancer sun in vedic astrology come into play? how do i know which is affecting me more?
I like my vedic signs better bcuz my moon is exalted in taurus.

Hi Cynthia,
By and large, Jyotish (aka vedic astrology) shuns sketchy readings based on just the rising, moon or sun -- and understandably so!
The only way to get proper advice using the principles of jyotish is to look at the entire horoscope.

Hi Cynthia,
The vedic chart with Gemini rising with both side of the lagna sun in cancer and moon in 11th means you are lucky concerning your birth time. However moon in dark half last quarter does not promise full mental strength. If so you will find the length of you thumb top phalanx is short compare to the second phalanx length. Then you have lack of will, a little bit lazy as the moon in 12th, leisure and pleasure loving and all big promise about you will be 50% materialize due to lack of will power. |

You will find what western astrology predict about your characteristic trend. But you will find more accurate result in every day life time analysis with Vedic astrology system on Gochara or transit results. This is my personal observation of last 30 years |
