The twelve constellations, or astrological signs mainly used by astrologers India, are divisible into three groups: the cardinal, the mutable, and the fixed. The nine primary numbers are divided up into the same three groups. The cardinal signs are Aries, cancer, libra and Capricorn; cardinal means doing and achieving.

So how can we work with this new information? Well once again it is useful for compatibility purposes. Suppose you are an Aries – this is a cardinal sign, and is associated with numbers 1, 4, and 7.

You might well be advised to seek a life partner within the same number grouping. You will have a lot in common, share ideals, goals and dreams, and will have an intuitive understanding of each other. That is not to say that partners within different groupings cannot work – they can. The difference is that they may have more hurdles to overcome.

reality is none of the signs are equally divided as assumed
zodiac is 360 degrees but few signs like gemini, cancer, leo are more than 30 degrees while aquarius, pisces are less then 30 degrees

proof of above is that small signs Ascendants last for less than 2 hours[/url]

the confusion is with signs & houses, in the northern hemesphere aquarius, for instance is rare because it lasts a very short time.

Yes, long ascension and short ascension is a hemispherical perspective! What is short in the North is long in Australia!

Due to obliquity etc, some people may confuse the degrees with the rising time etc.

Very well said! Houses are different from signs. The farther we go from the equator, the wider some houses will be and certain signs are indeed intercepted. The intercepted signs will be enclosed within a house. It also depends on which house system we adopt while casting a horoscope.

I don't know how you got such numbers, in vedic astrology signs has not relation with numbers , but planets has relation with numbers.
The characteristic of the signs above mentioned in your statement had been developed by observing signs rising and events nature repetition,
It is a verified knowledge, has no relation with numbers.
