Hello,
As the Kumbh has started in Haridwar,I was wondering if anybody would know what exactly is the astro significance of the Kumbh Mela that is held every 12 yrs when Jupiter moves into Aquarius?

How does this configuration wash away the sins & benefit all those taking a dip in the holy waters?

I have never attended the Kumbh & am thinking of going when I can.. dont want to miss it..
